HOCKEY GRANNY'S 2 - 3 lbs Beef cut in small 1 pieces. Roll in flour & brown in skillet in a couple tbls of shortening. After getting good & brown, cover with a couple quarts of water & salt. 1 tablespoon. Cook 1 1/2 hours. Add one good size onion & maybe 6 carrots peeled & cut up. Cook 1/2 hour. Then add 4 or 5 potatoes cut up, a can of peas. Cook 1/2 hour more or until potatoes are soft & meat is tender. |
